Power Pruner

Forestry Suppliersight, portable power pruners are designed for use by tree service firms, landscapers, tree farmers, foresters, and utility companies. Driven by an air-cooled, two-cycle, single cylinder, gasoline engine, this unit features a patented cutting shoe, sealed bearings and gears, vibration control devices throughout, sturdy fiberglass housing, safety shut-off switch, an easy-grip handle and trigger, plus a shoulder harness for additional support. It has a chainsaw type cutting head. Three models are available: the Model PP2110, Model PP2400 and Model PPFD2400.

The Model PP2110 can be used for light lawn maintenance companies, park maintenance operators and golf courses. It measures 7 ft, 10 in. long and includes a handbook, safety glasses, a hard hat, and ear protection.

The Model PP2400 is designed for tree services and professional landscapers. Its telescoping shaft offers an easy-adjustment knob that allows the operator to extend it to 11 feet. In addition it can be used for clearing brush, sawing firewood, sculpting, thinning, and rounding out logging truck loads. A five ft extension is available.

The Model PPFD 2400 is for municipal or utility operators who need to prune near high-voltage power sources. It features a fixed, extended fiberglass shaft with a length of 7 ft, 7 in. The reinforced fiberglass shaft is capable of withstanding 100,000 volts per foot of length for five minutes.
