Aluminum Live Floor Closed Top

Steco's aluminum live-floor closed top trailer is the preferred transfer trailer for compactor operations. Combining the weight saving of aluminum with Steco durability, this trailer is the cost-effective choice of America's premier transfer operations.

Top Rail – Heavy duty 6" x 4" x .250" extruded 6061-T6 tube.

Side Walls – A one piece, full length, .190" 5454-H34 alloy side sheet with .250" thick alloy the rear 10'. 6" x 3 5/8" extruded 6061-T6 side posts are fully welded on 24" centers. To offset the compaction force a single horizontal row of bracing is added to the center of the sides, with a triple row the last 10'.

Roof - .190" 5454-H34 with the last 10' x .250". Posts are 6061-T6 U-extrusion. The roof also has a single row of box bracing with the triple the rear 10'.

Floor – Additional wear strips are added to rear of live-floor to prolong floor life.

Tailgate – Steco closed-top transfer trailers are standard with a "Dutch-door" tailgate and heavy-duty grabber pockets custom-made to fit any compactor set up.
