All conveyors utilize heavy duty rubber bulk conveyor belting. When abrasives are in the material stream, vulcanized sidewall will be added to the belt assembly. Standard belting is 2 ply, 225 PIW, with 3/16 & 1/16 covers.

Optional belt plys, strengths, and covers are available - check with your KWS sales representative.

Cleats are fabricated from 2" wide tubing. Standard cleats alternate 2" high and 3" high, spaced at 48" centers (nominal). All cleats are secured to the rubber belt with 3/8" diameter hardware and a 1/4" x 4" back-up bar. Cleat and back-up bar are bolted directly to the 1/4" thick chain attachment tab with two or three bolts per side. Between cleats, rubber belt is fastened to a single bolt chain attachment tab every 6" (nominal). Hardware is 3/8" diameter minimum in all areas. Optional cleat heights and spacings are available.
