The leachate evaporation system (LES) is designed to deal with leachate management. The system is said to eliminate more than 97 percent of leachate on site by evaporation and oxidation. This unit allows the landfill operator to safely apply the remaining non-hazardous liquid sludge back into the landfill. This also reduces environmental risks for the landfill operators.
