This trailer is constructed of heavy-duty welded aluminum side posts, aluminum skin, and live floor to maintain light weight and durability. It features an open top design with a full opening and side-hinged rear door. All 24 slats of the live floor move 10 in. to the rear to unload. Every third slat sequentially retracts until all are in the original position, ready to move 10 in. to the rear again.
The trailer has 4-in. extruded aluminum I-Beams on 12-in. centers with an aluminum sub-deck to provide support for capacity loads. It also has dual axles with 25,000-lb. capacity, 77-in. track, outboard drums, quick-change brake shoes with Hutchens, and four-spring three leaf tandem suspension.
