Material Handling Hose

Special reinforcing fabric cord lay-up assembly makes the Soft Wall Material Handling Hose a flexible hose for positive pressure applications. The tube is abrasion-resistant for slurry handling and pneumatic conveying. A range of synthetic tube materials including neoprene, nitrile, chlorobutyl, EPDM, and butyl is available for specific applications. Normal pressure range for this product is between 50 and 250 psi, nd it can be manufactured to accommodate greater pressures when required. With standard lengths to 50 ft, inside diameters from 1½ to 30 in., and 4-, 6- and 8-in. diameters to 60 ft, this unit can be used for mining slurry discharge, dredge sleeves, pneumatic conveying, and abrasive materials handling. It has a wall thickness up to two-in. (or as required) and a standard cover of ozone and abrasion resistant neoprene nylon impression finish. The ends can be plain, plain-capped, enlarged, beaded with split back-up rings, built-in rubber flanges, built-in steel nipples (lined or unlined), or soft cuffs.
