Eirich's mixers now comprise a large variety of mixer sizes from a batch volume of 3 to 7000 liters, suitable for continuous and batchwise preparation processes. There are rated machine sizes available for specific applications in all essential fields, such as research and development, pilot runs, production of small batches, production with frequently changing formulas, and production with high throughput rates. For the ACHEMA, the program has been extended by including two new models of the R series, type R24 with a batch volume of 3000 liters, and type R29 with a batch volume of 5250 liters.
The mixers of the R series feature an inclined, rotating mixing pan that helps ensure efficient mixing results. They are used for tasks under normal pressure and under vacuum as part of the EVACTHERM system that requires just this one aggregate for performing various process steps, such as mixing, reacting, drying, heating, cooling, stripping, plastifying, and granulating.
