Safety Faucets

The economy safety faucet dispenses solvents and other hazardous or flammable liquids from drums or distribution lines. All wetted parts are constructed of machined stainless steel bar or Teflon for corrosion resistance. Spring-loaded Teflon seals are designed to offer long-lasting, dependable, drip-proof service. The body is provided with a grounding screw to help eliminate static spark, and the spout is equipped with a flame-arresting screen to help prevent vapor flash. A self-closing design provides positive shut-off when the handle is released and a shank guard helps prevent the faucet from being jammed in the open position.

Thorough cleaning can be accomplished without the need of special tools. The dispensing end can be removed for cleaning, and stainless steel construction allows for chemical or steam cleaning. These faucets can be furnished with 3/8-in., 1/2-in. or 3/4-in. straight or tapered interchangeable shanks. A swivel union connection between the faucet body and the spout enables the user to thread the unit into an opening and then adjust the spout to the desired position. The faucet's flow capacity is 1 gallon per minute (gpm) in fluids with viscosity to 250 ssu (50 cps).
