Transfer Stations

The cost of owning and operating a landfill is becoming increasingly prohibitive. That is why the design and implementation of effective regional transfer stations has become so important. Through innovative design, the Transtor minimizes capital and site development costs, and through flexible routing, it maximizes trailer utilization. The chute in the main lid accepts material from individual users and also accepts material from almost any type of collection vehicle - rear, front and side loading. The Transtor cycles into any open top trailer in 45 seconds using the tractor's wet kit or through an optional on-site power pack. Available in 40 and 53 cu yds (31 and 40 metre) capacities. Modular design allows easy expansion as needs of community change - growth projections can be taken into account at time of site design allowing a seamless transition to higher volumes when the time comes. The Transtor is available completely assembled or packaged knocked down - assembled units can be operational in less than a day - knocked down units in 3 days.
