Weather Station Interlocked Feeding and Control System

Odor Control Technology, IncW provides a fully integrated and weather station interlocked feeding and control system for the company's odor-neutralization program. The base unit supplies HP water and odor neutralizing chemical through a field of atomizing nozzles. The product is atomized at 5 to 50 microns to form an odor neutralization zone that effectively neutralizes the malodors from lagoons, ponds and pits or stacks vents or ducts. Various configurations of the stanchions for perimeter treatment or nozzles for in stack systems provide the dispersion for system efficiency. The weather station interlock activates the system when wind direction and speed are known to cause odor problems.

The unit also has a 7-day, 24-hour timer which precedes the weather station interlock to provide for shut down for weekends or programmed feed times to correlate with plant processes or diurnal variations. The combination of the timer and weather station allow the system to only use chemical when conditions are present for the creation of malodors.
