Among the conference highlights are a keynote presentation by Storm Cunningham, executive director of Revitalization Institute and author of The Restoration Economy; a workshop on OSHA Asbestos Awareness Training, conducted by the LSP Association (LSPA); and a general session by the Environmental Compliance Consortium.

Storm Cunningham's presentation, titled The Restoration Economy: The Greatest New Frontier for Green Services and Technologies, will focus on the economic potential of restorative development involving eight sectors: ecosystems, watersheds, fisheries, agriculture, brownfields, infrastructure, heritage, and catastrophes.

The LSPA, the EnviroExpo & Conference partner, is offering the asbestos workshop four times throughout the conference. Participants will receive a certificate for an OSHA two-hour asbestos awareness training.

Shelley Metzenbaum, executive director, and Tiffin Shewmake, assistant director, of the Environmental Compliance Consortium (ECC), will moderate a session titled, Compliance and Environmental Quality. This session will discuss the work of the ECC, which has identified examples demonstrating how government can use measurement for diagnostic, motivational, and communication purposes to improve environmental quality and the efficiency of environmental protection programs.
