Advanced Instruments, Inc. has added optional barcode capability to the Model 3300 micro-sample osmometer. The scanner is small, programmable and able to decode all of the popularly used coding systems. To activate the scanner, simply plug it into the osmometer and begin scanner. Individual test results are identified by a barcode number when results are printed to an auxiliary printer or downloaded to a laboratory computer.
