The C/K chassis cab is designed as an excellent platform for upfitting. Built to handle a variety of specialty bodies from independent suppliers, this model is reliable, adaptable and designed to deliver on even the big promises. A straight-frame-rail (available as C/K 3500) as well as a low body-installed height makes it well suited for upfitting. With GVWRs up to 11,000 lb. (2WD) and 12,000 lb. (4x4), customers have a choice of single or dual rear wheels, depending on the model and GVWR chosen. A wide-track rear axle option is also available for ambulance conversions and other applications.
