Closed-Door Balers

American Baler Companyels of horizontal closed-door balers to job match a multitude of different applications are available. They are used primarily by printers, boxboard plants, distribution centers, and manufacturers to bale a variety of recyclables including cardboard, hard-to-handle cartons, newsprint, aluminum, tin cans, and plastics. Designed for applications where high value is a priority rather than high-volume production, these balers are constructed with heavy-duty frames, most using four-in. solid steel breaker beams and floor beams. The entire frame and sub-frame is forged with heavy weldments and thick structural steel. They meet or exceed ANSI safety requirements. Features include electrical disconnect switch, UL-approved electrical components, and safety interlocks that prevent unauthorized operation. Only one hydraulic cylinder is needed to operate bale chamber door. The balers are available with side-loading flared hopper (for manual feed or cart dump loading), and standard or oversized hoppers (for manual, pneumatic, or mechanical conveyor feeding systems). Feed openings available up to 42 x 50 in.
