De-Stoner Dry Classifying System for Commingled Materials

The General Kinematics' De-Stoner is a patented dry classifying system, capable of handling continuous high volumes of commingled materials, shredded MSW, auto scrap "fluff", bio-mass fuel and RDF fuel. Cost-effective separation and classification is achieved by a unique combination of vibratory action and high velocity air streams. De-Stoners fluidize and stratify material according to the difference in terminal velocity. This feature helps to efficiently remove heavy items such as glass, metals, stones, dirt, etc. Virtually jam-proof units have no moving parts to wear or maintain, and help to save energy via a single low horsepower motor.
