Featuring 10-in. deep flanged longmembers, the DuraClass HPT 316 eliminates subframe crossmembers. Longmembers are deep flared, 3/16-in. high tensile steel and fully boxed. The floor is also constructed of 3/16 in. high tensile steel. The body sides are engineered for strength without the need for vertical bracing. This dump body is kept clean in harsh environments, according to the company. The vehicle also has a lower mounting height for a lower center of gravity and high tensile steel construction throughout for strength.
This unit is available with a variety of hoist, all with chrome plated, high pressure cylinders. The high pressure hydraulic system allows for low overall weight and large payloads. A small well for the hoist cylinder prevents material hang-up and the hoist housing reinforces the front head. The clean subframe offers corrosion resistance.
