The East Quad is designed to increase payloads, especially with heavy loads like asphalt and construction material. According to the manufacturer, the tractor-trailer combination allows the driver excellent maneuverability with a turning radius up to 16-ft. tighter than a traditional straight truck. The standard dump trailer is 24 ft. long, but is available up to 28 ft. Users can utilize traditional loading methods without interference. Unloading is also traditional, with the added benefit of a one-piece I-beam for a solid, wider dumping base. Additional features include:
