Eco Friendly System Replaces Outdated Cremator Unit

PROBLEM

SOLUTION
To provide safe, peace-of-mind treatment for bereaved pet owners, Ontario Pet Cremation Services of Dorchester, Ontario purchased an CleanAire Animal Cremator. After thorough review of all systems commercially available, the Eco Waste Solutions unit proved to be the best solution as proven by customer references.

Ease of use, ergonomic design and low operating costs were deciding factors in addition to clean environmental performance. The unit can also handle the safe cremation of horses.

SYSTEM CAPABILITIES
Using ISO 9001 standards, the CleanAire Cremator is configured with two stage burning principles. The steel shell is lined with advanced high temperature lining designed to keep heat inside the unit. The typical operating temperature in the Primary Burning Chamber are in the order of 900oF - 1400oF. The Secondary Burning chamber operates much hotter in the range of 1835oF - 1850oF in order to cleanse and sterlize the exhaust gases. Due to the pyrolysis style of burning, no visible odour or plume is seen during operation.

The approximate size of the system is like two cube vans. Continuous recording of operating details are automatically collected via the Operator Computer System. Color printouts are also provided for safe record-keeping.

OPERATING COSTS
Operating costs are approximately 5-15 cents per pound (based on natural gas). Local operating costs may vary according to density and loading characteristics.
