The EP51N electrically conductive epoxy resin has been formulated with a one-to-one noncritical mix ration by weight or volume. Full cure of this resin is said to be achieved in two hours. The cured polymer features a high tensile lap shear strength in excess of 1000 psi and an electrical resistivity as low as 5-10 ohm cm, measured at 75°F. It has a service temperature of –60°F to 250°+F.
The product produces high strength and tough bonds to both similar and dissimilar substrates including metals, plastics, ceramics, wood, and glasses. The bonds are resistant to thermal cycling and chemical exposures including water, fuels, oils, and organic chemicals.
