Hercules Automated-Arm Front Loader

A new Hercules automated-arm front loader gives the single operator a direct view of the targeted container from either the left or right side of the cab. The arm extends forward as well as to the side, has a 14-ft reach and is designed to lift containers of up to 440 gallons. Cycle time is eight seconds. A console-mounted joystick controls arm movement and is ergonomically designed to reduce operator fatigue.

Also, the automated arm's design permits positioning the packer body further forward on the chassis. This feature produces a better weight distribution, allowing larger legal payloads and a more maneuverable chassis.
