Komar Industries, Inc. Auger is engineered to handle difficult materials including oversized bulky materials. The system reduces the size and volume of wastes using the shredding and compaction action of a high-torque, low-speed, screw auger. Its operation requires minimal energy requirements while producing minimal noise and dust. All units have an automatic anti-jamming action and are capable of compacting into up to 40-cubic-yard containers. Additional features of this unit are proprietary bearing protection, torsion construction, heavy steel tube frame, severe-shock protection, NEMA 4 electrical enclo-sures, a PLC-based control system, and IEC electrical controls.
