A two stage hydraulic system is incorporated into this unit, featuring a two-stage gear pump that is designed to extend the life of the motor, pump, seals, and hoses. The compaction system offers 40,000 lb of compaction force, with compaction ratios varying depending on the waste stream.
Operator safety interlocks prevent the machine from operating if the door is open or slightly ajar. Forklift pockets are included for easy relocation, although the system can be anchored for permanent installation. It operates off a standard electrical outlet (115/1/60), with an optional 230/1/60 system available. This unit can be used to compact metal, glass, or plastic containers, oil filters, cartridge type paint booth filters, absorbent materials, laboratory glass vials, shop rags, lab garments, booties, gloves, plastics metal buckets, plastic jugs, and wiping towels.
