First American Scientific Corporation American Scientific Corporation's kinetic disintegrating system (KDS) was designed and manufactured to convert a variety of materials from approximately 1-1/2 in. or smaller feedstock to ultra fine 200-400 mesh particles at a rate of 4-10 tons per hour. Different applications for the KDS mill include: glass, gypsum, rubber, wood, mineral rock, sludge and a wide variety of other solid or semi solid materials.
This system uses air volume and pressure to move all material throughout the mill and this air is partially recycled. The balance of the make-up air is introduced from the atmosphere and air-conditioned to assist in dehydration and cooling the operation. The blower motor is 25 HP.
The system's dimensions are as followed:
Floor space: 9 feet, 11 in.; 4 feet, 7 inches
Overall: 14 feet; 7 feet,1 inch; 16 feet, 3 inch
Weight: 9,200 lbs.
