SICK, Inc.rating principle of the non-contact Laser Measurement System (LMS) is based on time-of-flight measurement. The product calculates the distance to the object using the time of flight of pulsed light, i.e. the length of time between the sending and receiving of light.
The product can be used for standard applications involving the measurement of objects and position determination, monitoring areas and vehicle guidance and collision control.
System Components include:
- send and receive unit with electronics, LMS 210/220 with internal heater
- hood with front window
- back panel with socket housing
- optional dust prevention shield
- optional air curtain
- optional motor flap
