Mustang 200 Trommel Screen

Norton Environmental Equipment "mustang" is for users who want a handy machine with large throughput. It can be used to screen waste, compost, excavated waste, sand, gravel, shredded bulky waste, waste wood, bark mulch, woodchips, bricks, broken construction waste, and contaminated soil. The core drum carries screen segments in mesh sizes from 4 mm x 12 mm to 80 mm square. The segments can be changed in approximately 70 minutes. They are made from wear resistant spring steel and can be transported in the machine or towing vehicle. Other features include:

•40 - 150 m³/hr capacity, depending on the screen size and material being processed

•Easy to maintain due to the simple design
•Water-cooled, 4 cylinder Perkins industrial diesel engine, 60 kW (80 hp)
•Fully hydraulic drive with axial piston pumps and hydraulic motors
•Hydrostatic speed adjustment on the hopper conveyor and drum
•Heavy duty, self-aligning feed hopper conveyor
•Automatic control for regulated feed to drum
•Automatic feed shutdown if drum is overloaded
•Easier drum changing
•Very maneuverable with twin axle chassis
•Road going chassis, up to 80 km/h
•Front supports hydraulically adjustable (for leveling)
•All discharge conveyors can be hydraulically folded up and down
•Feed hopper slides in for transporting
•Engine and machine monitoring
•The diesel engine switches off automatically due to low oil pressure, engine overheating or hydraulic oil overheating.
•Emergency stops fitted on all conveyors.
•Radio remote control (optional)
