New Versatile Rear Loader from Leach Company

The new Alpha-III rounded body rear loader from Leach Company offers a stronger body, fast hydraulics, and greater ejection force.

(Oshkosh, Wis.) – With its new line of Series III rounded body rear loaders, Leach Company has introduced the Alpha-III, a medium-compaction rear loader designed for both residential and commercial use. The tried and true Alpha tailgate offers a 3-cu. yd. hopper with a compaction rating of over 900 lbs./cu. yd. The new rounded body unit features a stronger body, fast hydraulics, and greater ejection force. Container handling versatility allows operators to easily make intermittent commercial stops on residential routes.

The new Alpha-III body is built exceptionally strong with 80,000 PSI steel end-to-end. A one-piece steel floor trough provides superior floor strength. Other changes to the Alpha include a lower load edge, a shorter overall wheel base, and top-mounted hydraulic lines. A fast-packing tailgate option is also available. Body sizes range from 14 to 32 cu. yds.
