New Waste Concepts Develops Systems Approach For Odor Control

Perrysburg, OH — New Waste Concepts has expanded its line of Odor Combatants to include two NEW neutralizers: Odor Corporal and Odor Lieutenant. Odor Lieutenant targets alkaline odorous compounds like ammonia, amines and skatoles, while Odor Corporal goes after the acidic odorous compounds such as mercaptans and hydrogen sulfide gases. These NEW members of the Odor Infantry, compliment the existing full line of Bacteria and Enzyme combatants that have been the leaders in the battles against odor. All of these products can be misted or topically applied.

New Waste Concepts has also developed a mobile misting multipurpose platform (3MP) which sprays wide and terminates odor. This new machine has the capability of spraying NWC's cover materials on odorous material coming into a landfill, which cover materials have been shown to suppress redon gas and odorous volatile organic compounds in not only laboratory conditions but also on USEPA superfund sites that are subject to tight regulatory air emission control. The new machine also can apply NWC's line of odor combatants topically, as well as mist the products. The misting system uses a hydraulically driven fan assisted rotary head misting system to send either the odor neutralizing infantry (Odor Sergeant, Odor Corporal or Odor Lieutenant) or the special forces of the Bacteria and Enzyme Battalion (Odor Colonel, Odor Major and Odor Ranger) to combat either acidic or alkaline odors.
