The 5124 Series Portable Davit Crane features a ratchet-style screw-jack which operates manually to adjust boom angle

The 5124 Series Portable Davit Crane features a ratchet-style screw-jack which operates manually to adjust boom angle when the crane is under load. This allows maintenance of straight vertical lifts and avoidance of side pulls that often cause loads to bind when being raised on guide rails. The adjustable boom also allows increased lift height to clear guard rails, and to position loads accurately when lowering them.

Hand-operated and 115 volt AC electric operated cranes are available. All winches include brakes for positive load control. Independent bases install on horizontal or vertical surfaces, so that one crane can move from base to base and serve multiple lift stations. The crane can disassemble for transport, and a Quick Disconnect Anchor allows for removal of the wire rope from the crane, leaving it attached to the submerged load.

The crane rotates 360 degrees on bearings in the base, and is rates for loads of up to 2000 pounds when equipped with a two-part line.
