The model PT627 is designed for high volume screening and sorting of whole tree chips, processed demolition material, and other wood and organic waste. Applications include screening processed wood waste from a tub grinder or horizontal hog to refine and enhance the value of the end product for various markets. It can also be used for pre-screening to reduce wear on grinders.
This unit screens up to 200 cubic yards/hr, depending on the material. Fines and acceptable material are conveyed to either side of the machine. Oversized material is conveyed to the rear. In the mid-range of the manufacturer's line of portable trommel screens, the PT627 is a heavy-duty six-ft. trommel that is designed and constructed for long term, dependable service. It features extra steel in critical areas, reserve horsepower, and hydraulic muscle.
