Puritech Recycling expands its Midwest presence with acquisition of Fluid Recycling Systems
Puritech Recycling Systems, Inc. has recently purchased the assets of Detroit-based Fluid Recycling Services' (FRS) Midwest Recycling Operations, a division of Quaker Chemical Company. The move was made to provide the company with a new centralized operations hub, strengthening its ability to serve the U.S. Midwest, according to Kip Bolon, Puritech President.
FRS's fleet will compliment the industrial oil recycling capabilities of Puritech, who entered the on-site oil recycling market in 1992. Strategic growth for the company has also included the buyout of two Chicago-based companies: Oil Purification Service of America, Inc., purchased in 1997; and Petro Processors in 1998.
