The Eaton Refuse Advisor integrates on-board scales, the ground support station (GSS) and MIS computers to provide the passage of information between systems. Through the use of on-board computer (OBC) technology, collection of actual route and stop times, distances, service exceptions, and driver activities; the advisor provides the tools to manage driver productivity. Additionally, integration with on-board scale technology and revenue information allows the analysis of profitability at the customer level.
The advisor also provides a set of capabilities that capture, transfer, and analyze information. The OBC captures data. The transfer capabilities are contained in the GSS and allows data to flow between the OBC and the GSS as well as between the GSS and other customer MIS systems. The GSS has a variety of analysis functions to show summary and detail information for drivers, routes, and customers allowing for informed decisions.
