This patented, lightweight, ripstop polyester fabric is engineered especially for use in roller-tops and tarps on open-top trucks and transfer trailers. It is well suited for hauling agriculture, woodchips, trees/bushes, waste/refuse, construction materials, and stone/gravel. Features of Ultra-lite include:
•Easy handling in tarp fabrication and truck use
•Ripstop construction and stretch geometry reduce windblown tearing
•Retains flexibility in all weather
•Lack of coating eliminates cold cracking in northern climates
•Fabric does not get hot in the summer
•Water repellent treatment helps keeps the fabric light in foul weather
•Wide fabric width eliminates center seams in tarps and roll-ups
•Knit construction locks in yarns, helping prevent edge raveling
