SCS Engineers

When SCS Engineers was founded in 1970, environmental consulting was a fledgling field. As a result, SCS has been involved with the development of environmental regulations and client solutions over the years. Now our engineers and scientists offer a total of more than 2,200 years of experience in their respective fields and almost 1,800 years experience in waste management, operating from offices coast to coast.

Environmental consulting is not a sideline with SCS - it's our only business. Teaming with our construction subsidiary, we offer a full range of solid waste management and environmental services.

SCS is nationally known for our landfill design, engineering, permitting, and construction services. Our landfill gas control, collection, and utilization systems are operating in every part of the country. We have permitted and designed transfer stations, composting facilities, waste-to-energy facilities, and material recovery facilities (MRFs) and have helped develop solid waste management plans for districts and municipalities across the United States.

Our environmental services expertise includes site assessments, studies, and investigations; remedial action planning and implementation; services for storage tank removals; and a complete line of real estate and brownfields related services.
