Komar Industries, Inc. Quad Shear 30 Series is a family of four shaft shear shredders designed to produce "one-step" assured piece sizes for such materials as medical waste, passenger tires, plastic, paper and other various materials. This new hydro-mechanical quad shear offers several charge openings as well as a horsepower range of 40 hp to 400 hp. Features include a quick change screen system that allows for different granulate sizes, load sensing/auto reversing shafts, programmable logic controller based control system, and high-strength steel alloy shafts. The unit can be used for industrial applications, hospitals, tire recycling systems, plastic recycling, and product destruction.
