Sharps Disposal System

The Sharps Plus System (SPS) has been added to the company's line of reusable regulated medical waste (RWM) receptacles. These polyethylene receptacles are designed for high-volume point-of-use disposal of needles and other RWM areas such as lab rooms, emergency rooms, dentist offices and multi-patient rooms.

The SPS consists of a three- or five-gallon seamless container that fits into a wall-mounted, polyethylene cabinet. The cabinet includes a glove dispenser and a viewing window to determine when the receptacle is full. There are two styles of lids: one allows the sharps to be dropped vertically into the lid opening; the other presents a horizontal opening.
