Shredder Power Monitoring
Shredder Power Monitoring
Every solid-waste shredder made by this company now is equipped with a power-monitor system that gauges true motor power output, allowing an extended period for the over-current draw to drop. If a sufficient drop occurs within a pre-set time, the machine's shredding operation remains uninterrupted. The system's inclusion is said to reduce the number of stalls and reversals at overload conditions while protecting the shredder against potential overload damage. Available in 20- to 200-hp models, the shredders also feature lift-out modular shaft assemblies and programmable controllers.
