Steel Walking Floor Closed Top

Steco's steel live-floor closed-top trailer exhibits superior ability to withstand even the most excruciating compactor applications. The less-expensive counterpart to the aluminum model, this trailer gets the job done with a reduced up front outlay of cash.

Top Rail – Heavy duty 3" x 4" x3/16" structural tube.

Side Walls – 12 Gauge hi-tensile with 10 gauge hi-tensile the rear 10'. 6" wide formed steel side posts are fully welded on 24" centers.

Roof – 12 gauge hi-tensile with 10 gauge hi-tensile the rear 10'. 6" wide formed steel posts are fully welded on 24" centers.

Floor – Additional wear strips are added to rear of live-floor to prolong floor life.

Tailgate – Steco closed-top transfer trailers are standard with a "Dutch-door" tailgate and heavy-duty grabber pockets custom-made to fit any compactor set up.

Chassis – All Steco transfer trailers are standard with 5/8" wall, 25,000# axles riding on a Reyco 21B, 4 spring, 9 leaf suspension (52,000#). A multitude of multiple axle configurations and suspensions options are available.
