Trail King Industries, Inc., Ti-Brook Div.to provide maximum payload, fuel efficiency and profitability, the Ti-Lite trailer is an 80,000-lb GVW "federal bridge" trailer for hauling materials such as sand and gravel, small aggregate, and crushed stone. Instead of using bolt-on hinges that can loosen, wallow out larger holes and cause the doors to sag, the trailer's tailgate uses bi-metal overhung hinges that are welded on for solid open-and-close operation. The top and bottom rails are said to provide exceptional strength in a lightweight design, and the bottom rail has an integral knee brace, external dirt shredder and rub rail for a durable connection of the sides and floor assembly. Mounting slots nest the side sheet for perfect alignment and strong welds.
