Garbalizer claims for its tire shredders the lowest downtime for unplanned maintenance and repairs of any similar machines—having averaged fewer than three days per year of unplanned downtime for more than 20 years.

The company says that Shredding costs, including all maintenance, labor, fuel, debt service, and overhead—calculated on a 260-day-per-year basis at eight hours per day—amount to only U.S.$18 to $20 per ton for the mobile machines and even less for the stationary machines.

Garbalizer shredder models include the S52-11 stationary (8-10 tons/hr); the S39-356 stationary (10 tons/hr); the Model M52HC-11 mobile, 7-8 tons/hr; and the S51-358 stationary (8 tons/hr)
