The Tri-C shredder was developed in 1979 and the first model produced in 1980. That first shredder is still being operated at full production rates. In fact, all of our shredders are still being used. We developed our shredder for one of the most difficult applications - shredding tires. The elasticity of the rubber and the strength of the wire and fiber makes it a real challenge to shred. Our shredder meets those challenges.
