WCA Waste Corporation Completes Acquisition Of Two North Carolina Landfills

Houston, TX — WCA Waste Corporation announced today that it has completed the acquisition of two landfills, two transfer stations and two material recovery facilities from MRR Southern, LLC. The acquisition expands the Company's presence into the Raleigh/Durham and Winston-Salem/Greensboro market areas.

The Raleigh operations located in Wake County consist of a 211-acre landfill, two transfer stations and a material recovery facility. The landfill currently has in excess of 8 million cubic yards of airspace with additional expansion capacity of 6.6 million yards.

The 154-acre landfill and material recovery facility located in High Point, North Carolina, service the Winston-Salem and Greensboro market. The landfill has approximately 4.6 million cubic yards of airspace remaining.
