WCA Waste Corporation Expands Kansas City Presence - Acquires Town And Country Disposal

Houston, TX /PRNewswire/ -- WCA Waste Corporation ("WCA"), a vertically integrated, non-hazardous solid-waste services company announced today that it recently completed the acquisition of Town and Country Disposal, a substantial Kansas City, Missouri collection, transfer and materials recycling company. 

Town and Country operates over 100 collection vehicles in the Kansas City market from its hauling facility in Harrisonville, Missouri.  Town and Country also owns and operates a solid waste transfer station and a new state-of-the-art materials recycling facility (Kansas City is a no glass recycling market).  WCA will continue to conduct the Town and Country operations from its current facilities in Harrisonville.  WCA also plans on relocating its regional Missouri headquarters to Town and Country's Harrisonville facility.

Town and Country Disposal was founded in 1998 and has grown into one of the premier Kansas City waste service companies by providing excellent customer service and investing in new technology.  WCA's Regional Vice President Kevin O'Brien stated, "WCA will maintain the locally-oriented customer service focus that has been instrumental to Town and Country becoming a market leader in the greater Kansas City area.  We are confident WCA can build on Town and Country's success through our expanded disposal, capital and technology resources."

WCA has substantial waste collection and disposal operations in central Missouri but had not established a presence in the Kansas City market until January 2015 when it acquired the Manchester Transfer Station.  The acquisition of Town and Country, together with the Manchester Transfer Station, establishes WCA as one of only three fully-integrated waste companies serving the Kansas City market.  William K.
