Zehr Manufacturing

Source: Zehr Manufacturing
The Zehr family started their first grinding business in 1966. Presently many businesses proudly present the Zehr name along with the Zehr standards of High Quality and Stability. To mention a few: Diamond Z, which manufactures the large 1463 Tub Style grinder that ground logs and stumps to cut costs in removal and handling; Diamond Machining, which manufactured other tub style grinders like the 1260, 1260I, 1248, and 1036 models. Recognized as the leader in grinding technology, the two companies were merged together to better serve their customers and dealers. Zehr Sales, handling overseas sales, reaches out to Europe, Asia and even Antarctica with the Zehr name.

Recently, the Zehr name is researching and designing other type of machines like the Horizontal Style Wood grinder. The horizontal grinders produce wood by-products which can be resold to consumers as decorative yard chips, bedding for livestock, and even fuel for cogeneration plants. The Horizontal grinding machines can also be used in landfills where limbs and logs are economically recycled or reduced in volume, Even in the tire recycling industry, a modified grinding system turns old tires into recoverable metals and rubber.

Today, with over 30 years of experience, the Zehrs attacked the world's problem of excessive landfill waste by designing a new type of landfill grinding machine, the ROTOGRINDER is capable of grinding landfill waste and reducing the volume by up to 50% with no sorting or special handling of waste materials. With the increasing need for reductions in landfill volumes and cleaner landfill sites this machine will win that battle.

If there is a grinding need, all you need is Z. Zehr, the leader by far.
